Nitish Kumar to inaugurate second state film festival
Patna, Feb 8 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would inaugurate a second state film festival that opens on February 11 will run till February 17 and will feature 25 movies by acclaimed directors from India, Europe, US, China, and Iran. The festival offers a bouquet of Hindi, foreign and regional films to movie connoisseurs.

“This time people will get a chance to watch some trend-setting Bollywood films and some good Bhojpuri films,” said state Information and Public Relations Minister Arjun Rai here Thursday.
The first film festival was held soon after the National Democratic Alliance government came into power.
“Last year the festival was a big success and we hope for a hit again,” Rai said.
A total of 31 films in Hindi, five in foreign languages, five in Bhojpuri and one in Maithili would be screened in the week-long festival.
Hindi films like “Black Friday”, “Dor”, “Hanan”, “Dansh” and “Traffic Signal”, will be screened in the festival. The foreign segment consists one movie each in French, German, Italian, Japanese and Swedish languages.
Filmmaker Prakash Jha, Madhur Bhandarkar, actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha, Manoj Bajpayee, Shekhar Suman and Neetu Chandra, are expected to attend the festival.
