London, Jan 19 : British singer Lily Allen likes to be away from the celebrity culture.

Lily Allen dislikes celebrity culture and says she does not want to be part of that “weird group”.

Allen hates celebrities who believe fame allows them to a part of an elite club. She despises those who check out newspapers and tabloids to see the stories written about them, reports contactmusic.com. She says: “There’s a world of celebrities in Britain and nothing makes you more sick than when you walk into a room of celebrities and they give you this celebrity nod and kind of invite you into their group.

“No, thank you. I don’t really want to be in your weird group. I don’t care if any of those people are offended. The only way that people like that would know if I’ve said anything bad about them, was if they were reading the tabloids to see if there was anything written about them and I just think that’s really sick and twisted.”
