The court clears way for ” Alpha Dogs’ ” release
The film Alpha Dog, a crime thriller directed by Nick Cassavetes is now heading for release, after the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals permitted its scheduled opening. The film is based on the Murder case of Jesse James. The Hollywood Attorney James Blatt had made an emergency request to delay release of the film, after a federal judge refused last month to stop the release.

James Blatt said,†I am not surprised by the appellate panel’s ruling on Monday. It’s difficult to take on the First Amendment. The standard for prior restraint is so tremendously high.â€Â
He further said that, the film has quite resemblance with the suspected role of Hollywood in the case of kidnapping and slaying of 15-year-old Nicholas Markowitz seven years ago. His dead body was found in a remote Santa Barbara County camping area. Prosecuters believed Hollywood to be the master mind, who was caught in Brazil in 2005, behind the Teenager’s death. Markowitz was killed due to conflict between Hollywood and the victim’s older half-brother over a 200 (R8 727) drug debt.
In the film Justin Timberlake one of the kidnappers, plays a good baddie. Other co-actors include Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster and Amanda Seyfried. Cassavetes has been slowly, steadily ratcheting up the grimly violent tale of a crime, where random events, very well linked, without a shallow estimation, lead to the worse tragedy. The film is film is well presented with dates, times and places. One would be amazed to see how many perties the guys over their attend within just three days.
