Angelina Jolie thrashes Madonna for “Illegal adoption”

Angelina Jolie, the Hollywood actress, revealed her strong opinion on Madonna’s adoption of a 13-month-old baby David from his Malawian father. She has questioned Madonna’s plan to adopt an African child, accusing her of breaking the law.

Angelina Jolie said that the singer should not have paid a visit to an impoverished African country last year with the sole intention of picking up David Banda. She further quoted, “Madonna knew the situation in Malawi, where he was born. It’s a country where there is no real legal framework for adoption. Personally, I prefer to stay on the right side of the law.”

On other hand she still felt sorry for Madonna, 48, who has been harshly criticised since taking David back to London to live with her husband Guy Ritchie and her own children, Lourdes and Rocco.She feels, all that should count is the happiness of her little David.”

Angelina Jolie also revealed that she wants her 41-year-old boyfriend Brad Pitt, the film actor, to become the legal father of her adopted children, Maddox, five, who is originally from Cambodia, and Zahara, 23 months, originally from Ethiopia.The couple also have a daughter named Shiloh, who is six months old.

Jolie ruled out the possibility of marriage to Pitt. Referring to her failed marriages to the actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, Jolie said: “I’ve already done it. Two times and without success.”
