Bollywood : Obscenity case against Shilpa Shetty misdirected !!
The obscenity case against actress Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was misdirected !!! Thats what the National Commission of Women (NCW) chair Girija Vyas described it as.
“When the Censor Board has cleared her film for public viewing, where does the question of obscenity arise?” Vyas wondered.
A Madurai advocate had filed a case against Shilpa for posing for an allegedly obscene photograph in Tamil magazine “Tamil Murasu”, saying it “polluted the minds of young people”.
The picture is a still from Shilpa’s Kannada film “Auto Shankar” that has been approved by the Censor Board, the actress’s spokesperson, Dale Bhagwagar, submitted a memorandum to the NCW.
“Shilpa had neither posed for the picture, nor had given permission to publish it,” Bhagwagar pointed out, adding the actress was feeling targeted and victimised due to the complaint.
According to Vyas, “(censor board chief) Sharmila Tagore should also come out in Shilpa’s support. In fact, all self-respecting women of India should speak up for her”.

Actresses nowadays are in a spree to walk around without clothes.One wears little, the other decides to better that record,and so it goes …
Well lets get this right,we started as apes ,and are only aping the apes.
I guess these people feel they have something special inside their clothes, which needs to be shown to all,especially the young generation.

Shilpa Shetty is a beautiful, talented actress who is a credit to her profession and to India. It is really pathetic that India’s court system allows such Taliban-style persecution and harrassment of it’s citizens.

Is It ?
Very interesting to read & time pass. But,
Disturbing the court (where thousands of cases pending) and waste of time. A seperate division of court should handle the cases like this and the funny persons should be punished .
