Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to spend new year’s eve in Costa Rica

Where will globe-trotting Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt spend the New Year’s holiday? Costa Rica. After spending Christmas Day in the country, giving gifts to refugees for the holidays, it was announced that Brangelina will ring in 2007 at the same resort that they spent the holiday at.

The movie star couple will spend New Year’s Eve at the very exclusive Four Seasons Resort in Papagayo. The resort is on the northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is pretty well-known that Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh Nouvel, the kid’s nanny, and a personal chef have been registered at the hotel under the name “the Black family” since last Friday. They went from there to a refugee camp for Columbian refugees on the Christmas holiday and handed out gifts. The Mirror quoted a guest as saying that “They were laughing and joking together and seemed to be having a great time.”

The resort where the Jolie-Pitt entourage will spend the holidays and says that it describes facility as one that is “spilling down a lush mountainside to an isthmus of golden sand” and that room rates range from 0 to ,800 a night. The Jolie-Pitts are probably closer to the high end of that range.

Angelina Jolie told the press that handing the gifts out to the refugees on Christmas was a wonderful experience, telling the press, “We had a wonderful Christmas both with the Costa Rican people and the Columbian refugee families we met.”

There are roughly 11,500 refugees from war-torn Columbia in Costa Rica and they’re the main reason that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the country. Former Culture Minister Guido Saenz even gave the couple a tour of the country’s art museum.
