John Abraham – The Most Happening Man of 2006
If a survey was conducted on the most happening man of 2006 Johnny boy is very likely to walk away with the trophy. The model turned actor turned brand ambassador turned ‘designer’ is surely making waves all over the continent!
This year John featured in movies where he could actually show his acting prowess and stand his own against stalwarts like Amitabh, Hema Malini, Rani Mukherjee and Salman Khan. Take the movie ‘Baabul’for instance. He played the role of a taciturn musician expressing his love his girl through his songs exceptionally well.
In yet another meaningful role with an excellent performance in ‘Kabul Express’ released last week, he plays the role of a television journalist covering the war against the Taliban in the aftermath of the 9/11 attack.
And then we hear of the release of the ‘John Abraham’ brand of designer clothes from the international clothes brand ‘Wrangler’. In John’s own words, “They’d reflect my personality and the kind of clothes that I feel comfortable wearing. I’d see no need to wear other brands because my collection would have everything that I sartorially aspire to.”
Johnny boy claims that the ‘John Abraham Collection’ will take keep him pretty comfortable financially and pay for his marriage and his honeymoon and take care of a lot of other things in the next five years of his life.
Did you know John is a vegetarian and a staunch supporter of animal rights? In fact has been featuring in advertisements for PETA.
Born to a Malayalee father and a Parsi mother, John surely has made a mark for himself although he acted in his first movie when he was 30!

I don’t agree with these responses. John Abraham is a truly deserving star and an excellent actor. He would have been in the industry anyway, bipasha or not. He started going out with her after joining films! And now he is an entrepreneur - good on him. Shows that he is intelligent and thinking about his future. I predict he will be the next reigning hero after Shah Rukh, more deserving than Abhishek.

He’s a total kiss-ass artist. He can’t act and is begining to look like something the cat drag in. Too skinny, scraggly, ….. he needs a shower and a plate of food.
Only reason he’s getting publicity is because Yashraj has taken him under their banner.

That we don’t agree with u my dear. Actualy he don’t no hoe to act. Also he is in the industry cause of his look and our dear Bipasa. otherwise he is nothing. He is a flop hero.
