Recently we have seen news reports of court cases against Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan. Some guy called Mr D accused the pair of lowering the dignity of Indian women and encouraging obscenity among India’s youth.

We will not mention the name of the person.. and the whole media should have done the same. The man who filed the case must have done that with only one intention in mind .. the 15 minutes of fame. In the olden days it would not have been possible but these days with 24 hour news channels and hundreds of online newspapers who are struggling to get content, such incidents get great attention. Everyone wins !!

The person filing the case wins his 15 days of fame, the media get their scoop and the movie team get their publicity with more people going in to check out the Hrithik Aishwarya kiss !! The Indian courts which are anyway backlogged for years have to deal with this kind of issues. Since when did a kiss become a national issue. Movies like Murder become superhits .. girls like Rakhi Sawant become celebrities … and a single kiss is responsible of “lowering the dignity of Indian women and encouraging obscenity among India’s youth” !!

The highlight over the Dhoom2 kiss, the Omkara bed scene and what not !! “Aishwarya in bikini ” … when news like that help in selling a movie … this means people want this. If people reject nudity or intimate scenes, movie producers will avoid these … and if a single kiss can bring 10% more people to the theatres, then why not ?
