Review Dhoom:2 Captivates the audience in its aura

If one seeks to experience Breathtaking Hi-Speed Chases, Never-Seen-Before Action Sequences, Hi-Tech Heists, Non-Stop Laughter and Excitement, than the answer will undoubtedly be ‘Dhoom:2’ (D:2). In a nutshell, ‘Dhoom 2’ is mindless fun.

The make-up experts of D:2 brought in from London really did a marvelous job. They completely transformed the stars to different human beings. The film promises not only bikes and bikinis but a lot more exiting sequences. From Rio De Janeiro, Brazil to Durban, South Africa, D:2 is being shot in a number of locations including many places in India, thereby adding a variety of space.

Apart from the glamorous Ash seen first time in short skirts and Bikinis who plays the role of girl named Sunheri, the film also features Hrithik Roshan playing the part of a perfect thief named Aryan, Abhishek Bachchan is in the role of a super cop Jai Dixit, Bipasa Basu playing the most attractive cop named Shonali Basu and Uday Chopra playing the role of a cop named Ali. The sizzling outfit of Bipasa Basu was an added feature.

The film has got the essence of Chor-Police saga of the 70’s and 80’s. The first hour focuses on the cat-n-mouse game, while in the second hour, it transform into a love story.

Directed by Sanjay Gadhvi, produced by Aditya Chopra and Amit Chopra, D:2 is a big budget film involving Rs.90 crores (900 Million/ $ 20.2 Million). Distributed by Yash Raj Films, Dhoom 2 is dubbed into Tamil and Telegu languages and was released on Friday along with its Hindi version. The other branches of D:2, saw many brains, such as, visual effects [Tata Elxsi], action sequences as also the stunts [Allan Amin], Cinematography [Nirav Shah, Vikas Shivraman], Dialogues [Vijay Krishna Acharya], Costumes [Anaita Shroff Adajania]. True to its expectation, Dhoom:2 took the cine-lovers in its magical grip.

Ash, it seems has come out of her shell and grown bold with D:2. Her first screen kiss was indeed a romantic sequence. The action scenes, the bike chases, the dance floor scenes, the choice of locations, the costumes, star cast, music, cinematography and all branches of the movie seems to be perfect blend to earn the title of a hit. On a 5 five point scale, Dhoom:2 can easily earn anything above 3.5 to 4.5.
