Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt in the face of threat from Al-Qaeda
A probable Al-Qaeda threat to the Hollywood super couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has led the Indian Intelligence Bureau to homework along with police personnel. This has led to a great media hype in international level.
Angelina Jolie has been in Pune together with Brad Pitt since last month to shoot for “A Mighty Heart,” a film on the ‘Wall Street Journal’ journalist-Daniel Pearl who was abducted and slain by Al-Qaeda militants in Pakistan in 2002. She plays Pearl’s widow Mariane in the film. The film was initially decided to be shot in Pakistan. But after being denied permission by the Pakistani authorities, it was decided to be shot in India.
However, if we are to go by the reports of weekly ‘Entertainment Magazine’, the fact of the matter stands that in purview of their superstar image and the immense sensitive matter of the film they were about to shoot, top government sources advised them not to take the risk of going to Pakistan. The report also added that they could naturally be the hot targets for the terrorists and kidnappers. Well, perhaps this could probably explain the reason why the star couple is in so tight security with heavy handed weapons brandishing bodyguards.
A few days ago, British security experts were flown to Pune on receiving an alert message from Pakistan, which read that the superstar couple might be in target of the terrorists. It is reported that the couple are scared and concerned about their safety and security. An Intelligence Bureau source from New Delhi, said that, the Indian officials after consulting with various intelligence agencies has decided to provide special security coverage to the star couple.

Why in the heck would Jolie and Pitt take a chance with terrorists threats? No film is worth that! Besides, Hollywood is wonderful at creating scenes that look very legitimate and w/out terrorists plotting against them. What about their children? Why would they even dare take that chance??? It’s just insane to me.
