‘Don’ tops audio charts

New Delhi, Oct 29 : The song “Main hoon Don” from the film “Don” takes the number one position and two new tracks from “Dhoom 2″ and “Yatra” also enter the list.

The top 10 Hindi film songs of the week are:

1. “Main hoon Don” - Film: “Don - The Chase Begins Again”; Singer: Shaan; Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The film opened last week but failed to impress critics. However, this stylishly choreographed song is being appreciated by music lovers.

2. “Hum ko maaloom hai” - Film: “Jan-e-Mann”; Music: Anu Malik; Singers: Sonu Nigam and Sadhana Sargam. The song had slipped to number six position last week but has bounced back to take the number two slot. Critics have also appreciated the endeavours of debutant director Shirish Kunder.

3. “Ek toote huye dil ki” - Film: “Umrao Jaan”; Music: Anu Malik; Singer: Alka Yagnik. The song featuring Aishwarya Rai was number one song last week but has slipped three notches down.

4. “Crazy kya re” - Film: “Dhoom 2″; Music: Pritam; Singer: Sunidhi Chauhan. This song is a fusion of western and middle-eastern music.

5. “Pyaar kar ke pachhtaye” - Film: “Pyaar Ke Side Effects”; Singer: Labh Janjua; Music: Pritam. The film has received rave reviews, which has boosted the popularity of the song.

6. “Lage raho Munna bhai” - Film: “Lage Raho Munna Bhai”; Singer: Vinod Rathod; Music: Shantanu Moitra. The film is a super duper hit and the popularity of the title song is increasing by the day.
