Saregamapa Lil Champs : Abhijeet gets verbal at elimination
With every week, as more and more contestants are getting eliminated, Zee TV’s Saregamapa Lil Champs is really heating up and the usual Saregampa is being repeated.
One of the judges, Abhijeet Bhattacharya was the most vocal and verbally attacked music director Bappi Lahiri (another judge) for supporting the less deserving the contestants including the handicapped (blind) contestant Divakar. Abhijeet kept questioning Lahiri’s points for Divakar and had some really nasty comments about Bappida. Abhijeet asked viewers not to vote based on sympathy for the blind contestant and when Divakar’s father wanted to withdraw the contestant from the contest if he was gaining from the sympathy, Abhijeet was pretty rude to him. The ace singer was visibly upset over the elimination of Abhrokanti.
And also Zee has started announcing the vote division by region, East, West, North and South (the neutral zone). Zee successfully exploited the regional divide during the Saregamapa Challenge 2005 and got crores of SMS votes. The judges were upset that the better contestants were getting eliminated. Atleast this drama did not look scripted .. but if judges are so upset over the choice of public SMS .. then why does Zee not stop the SMS voting. and rely on judges votes.

I mean, Sammer Mahammed, Divakar, and Sanchita, including evryone else are awesome. Everyone should just get medals and trophies and 10,000,000 rupees.
