Bollywood : Karan Johar to judge Miss World 2007
Karan Johar is the first Indian filmmaker who is chosen to be on the judge’s panel of the Miss World 2007 thanks to the globalization of Bollywood. This year Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna was screened at the Toronto Film Festival. Along with Karan Johar, actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan were also present at the fest. The trio had an interesting interaction session with the audiences at the film festival, regarding Bollywood films.
Karan has a first hand experience of judging beauty pageants back home, but this is the first time that he’ll be judging a global pageant. The director will be in at Warsaw in Poland on September 30 judging the 56th Miss World contest.
So what is Karan Johar planning after KABHI ALVIDA NAA KEHNA? He’s planning to start two films at a go.
The first film isn’t titled yet, but Karan is keen to call it RACE. This film is expected to roll in November this year.
The second project, Karan divulges, will also start in November and will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani. “We’ve okayed the script already. All he needs to do is put the cast in place. Tarun is an extremely bright and hardworking guy,†he adds.

How pathetic can one get!
THe only woman he has eve admired is Kajol!! And that’s besides SRK!!!.
I am sick of seeing him in every award show also. He talks too much!! Such a show off!

OK Akila, i admit i did make fun of his sexuality and i am sorry bout that but i do not condone to homosexualtiy and i will comment about it as it is my right to do.
My likes and dislikes are my prerogative!
I do not like Karan cause he is such an overated director and he is always gives the impression that he is around the Industry for years. Such a show off. Like as though he is the only one who has lost a loved one or he is the only one who has family! You made your point with directors and their fav actors OK that’s fine but…
Look at the guy! He is so pathetic!
But he is what he is, well, i’ll accept that but u don’t get so sensitive if one makes fun of the other’s sexuality OK! Its not like he’s your bro or whatever…Come on girl, don’t get so defensive…this ppl are in there and making money like hell and here we are defending them like as though they have an impact on our lives!!!

john, i will agree with you, yes i like karan johar and his movies, but, i will also agree that KANK was a little bit dissapointing. you made fun of his sexuality, that was not nice. why was he selected, he is popular and shares a good rapport with most of the film faternity. regarding him adoring SRK every director has a favorite RGV has amitabh, sanjay gupta has sanjay dutt , nadiaidwala’s have akshay kumar or jpdutta has abhishek. so what is wrong with him adoring SRK.
