For the past 18 months Agassi needed regular cortisone injections in his back just to have any chance of competing.
“When you look at a year like I’ve had, it’s easy to wish you didn’t have to go through it,†he said.
“I needed to because for me I wanted to make sure I had given everything I can and to do this as long and hard as possible.â€Â
