Are u saying if its a hit in overseas that its a nice film? The reason why it seems to be a hit because of the media hype in it..as goes all sharukh films and Yash Chopra. The bottom line is the storyline is outrageous and immensely immoral to indians alike. Its not a good film. Pathetic, boring and dissapointing. Johar just used these stars without going into the essence of the film itself. Johar is always overated director and some of the actors too in the film except Amitabh.

Listen i think Shah Rukh Khan is a talented actor OK. but he should break away from the norm of all the Karan Johar movies.
His potrayal in SWADES was very sincere and sensitive. He did not cry immensly unlike in Karan’s movies…
You just take KKHH, K3G & KHNH. you will notice his cryings scenes are so much that one cannot digest it!! I mean the glycerine is definitely not his cup of tea!
The minute he breaks away from Karan Johar, his potrayals are good! Even in MOHABETTEIN, he never cried but his scenes were so sensitive and good. SEE the minute he steps away from Karan Johar and the other one called Farah Khan who made him like some immaculate character in Main Hoon Na he hits the bulls eye with solid performances with others.
THat’s what we as his fans want him to do now that he is in the peak of his career. Some solid roles to remember this man will be like the icing of a grand wedding cake!
Asuthosh Gowariker, Aditya Chopra, Yash Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are some of the directors who have tapped the untapped from this versatile actor.
So in conclusion i would thinks its bettter for SRK to kool it with Karan and Farah for some time. I know he is close to them, but see what type of trash movies they produce….
Please SRK, would love to see you in a mainstream movie and show your mettle to the all fans out there. You Can do it SRK! Believe me you can cause i have been your fan since i was 12! i am 25 now and am still your most devoted fan!

This is a an opinion based forum, so get a life OK!! Everyone’s opinion is read here, so don’t get so sensitive about ur Fav SRK oK!!! The movie was OK and mind you Karan is not the type of director to handle such issues…he is only good for his merrry-berry movies!!
Even in KANK you see posh lavish surroundings and all the actors wearing designer outfits…what to do friend..that’s Karan’s style…Ask him to go back to India and do a simple movie on poverty …at least Gurinder Chadda who is a British based director showed slums of Punjab in Bride…Karan probably never knew what poverty is since he is the late Mr. Yash Johar’s son! Your fav SRK should start doing some off-beat theme like Aamir Khan, then maybe we can accept him as the GREAT ACTOR you have described him to be!!!
