Sania Mirza -Domachowska in Cincinnati tennis semis
New Delhi, July 21 : India’s Sania Mirza and her Polish partner Marta Domachowska have entered the doubles semi-finals of the $175,000 Western and Southern Financial Group Women’s Open in Mason, reports reaching here said.
The third seeds defeated Uzbekistan’s Varavara Lepchenko and Men Yuan of China 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (3) after a tough encounter that went on for almost three hours.
In the singles competition, ninth seed Sania was scheduled to play top seed Patty Schnyder of Switzerland in a quarter-final match later in the day.
