I had too much of vodka shots to drown my sorrows. If I blabber, u guys will know why.
I watched the match between England and Portugal in a bar in Frankfurt. I was really hoping that Portugal will win cuz am not a fan of England. However I had a change of mind just by watching the way Portugal play. They are one bunch of dirty rascals. Honestly they are even worse than that. How can I even think of supporting them. They faked a lot of injuries and made it all ugly. Maniche claimed that he was slapped in his face by an English player whose name I dont remember cuz I was not concentrating, but if you watch the replay, there was no contact whatsoever. He is just one big ugly faker. Luis Figo is never a saint. He has eveil in that mind of his as it was quite evident during the match between Holland when he head-butt Van Bommell and later he did a lil act whne he was accidently given a blow by one of the Dutch players. Simao is very manipulattive but not as bad as the pretty face Cristiano Ronaldo. He's cute and what not and yess he is also a good player but that incident between he and Rooney just shows that he can be very immature. Sure he wants to stand up for his team-mate but that was an accident and it was not even Rooney's fault. Am sure C.Ronaldo knows Rooney's weakness, which is his temper being that they come from the same club Man.U and he like a cunning boy took advantage of it by stirring Rooney's temper. Obviously Rooney lost it and hence a red card. But in my "limited" knowledge in football, I feel that a red card is way to harsh. A free kick and a yellow card will be justifiable. Besides Rooney's push was not that harsh. Not that its right but to have a red card thrown at ur face just like that??? Obviously Horacio Elizondo messed it up and I dare say that this will be his last World Cup. Aaron Lennon and Owen Hargreaves were awesome players, especially Lennon. And wtf????? Lennon deserved that penalty kick when he was fouled. That was a real blow. When it came to the penalty shoot-out, I know for sure that Portugal will win it easy. Lets face it, England shucks at penalty. Frank Lampard needs to learn how to kick a ball. My grandmother can kick better than him. He has missed so many chances. Son of a ... 
As for the match agains Brazil and France, I was devastated. The moment Henry scored the goal for France, I teared. I left the satdium 30 minutes later cuz I had this gut feeling that Brazil will not make it. I was really upset. Sad, dejected, pissed, angry and annoyed. They didn play well and thats the bottom line. If only they played half as good as how they played against Japan or Ghana, for sure there will be a treat for the Brazilian fans. Nevertheless am still proud of my samba boys. They were not sore loosers like the Argentinians who made a scene after loosing out to Germany in the penalty shoot-out. They took it well and they congratulated each other, including the French players. I cant deny that am sad but hey...you win some and you loose some.
There is still 2010 and hopefully they will do well in South Africa. I doubt Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos and Dida will beplaying but hey, they are in good hands so all's well end's well. Cafu of course will retire and hats off to him. He is a true captain.
As for the Semi-finals, well I hope Germany will get it good and as for the match between Portugal and France, well I hope Portugal wins cuz I really want to see them loose to Germany. I hated Germany before but they are better players now. Much more matured and good interception. Naturally I will root for Germany and I do want them to win. Portugal and Italy CANNOT win and thats period.
I still believe in Brazil and they are the true champions. 2010 will be their calling. Viva La Brazil.

It was not the same Brazil that I was cheering for !! Today Brazil cud not even shoot at the goal .. forget scoring goals !! They played bad and they deserved to lose. Zidane was the man who made the difference .. still dont realize why Brazil gave him so much room. Look how the French locked down Ronaldinho. Why this "respect" to Zidane !!
It was not a magical world cup for Brazil.. I think Ronaldo should have played better this world cup. The young players will hopefully improve in the next 4 years.
So for me its Germany .. hopefully Italy or Portugal will not win this world cup. World cup is not just one or two games .. the team which plays well throughout deserve to be the champions !!

Exactly. This whole jogo bonito thing is crap. They always fumble in front of the French. Zizou managed to overcome not one not two but three consecutive blocks from the Brazilians. And what happened to Ronaldinhio? Those who did well for Brazil will be Dida, Robinho, Juan and Cicinhio. And Roberto Carlos to a certain extend. Dida saved Brazil from a landslide defeat. I doubt there will be a next world cup for Ronaldo. I think he's retiring after this. The same goes to Cafu and I guess Roberto Carlos too. Not sure bout Dida tho I still feel that by far he is the best GK for Brazil. Kaka didn do well too. I still prefer Adriano when he played for the Confederations Cup last year. I believe the future of Brazil will be in safe hands tho and that too with crossed fingers. There's Robinho, Juan, Ze Roberto, Cicinhio, Fred, and with hopes that Kaka, Adriano and Ronaldinhio will make a fire start for the next WC.

They have all the reason too. Just look at Zidane. He proved his critics wrong. I do hope France win cuz I bloody hell hate Portugal. With all those retarded tricks. But of course I want Germany to win the finals. After all we're talking about Miroslav Klose.

France is a great team and am happy for them. Honestly I am. Clearly they were better than Brazil during the QF. Anyway moving on, I think they have a clean chance to win. Zizou is in top form and with Henry and Ribbery it will be no prob. But the Portugal team is no sweat too. Cristiano Ronaldo, Deco, Maniche, Luis Figo and Ricardo will make it hard. How I used to root for Portugal but after seeing them play I am disgusted. I dont mind if a team looses just like Brazil cuz it's all fair but to create ruckus and then win is sumthin I detest. Of course the Portugese are fab players but they are also fab meddlers. They create problems and controversies whenever possible especially when a critically acclaimed team is involved.
Just look at the match between Nederlands and Portugal. Sure Maniche's goal is a winner and hats off to him but that sneaky Figo just had to mess with the Dutch players. He bloody hell head-butt Van Bommel and then acted like a saint. Of course the Dutch got mad. Even when Deco tripped the Dutch player for carrying on the ball when it was supposed to be the Portugese ball, Simao grabbed and pinched the Dutch player who was down. Hell yeah do you expect the rest of the Dutch players to come in to their teammate's defence.
I love Cristiano Ronaldo. He's cute, sexy, a perfect make-out material and a ball player. He's a creative footballer but he's no saint either. He very well know Rooney's weak point cuz they are clubmates and using that advantage he just had to barge to the ref and demand that Rooney gets a red card. With Rooney being a hot-headed baffoon you'd expect him to retaliate so. But till now am surprised to the reason for Rooney's red card. Is it or accidently stepping on Ricardo Carvalho's groin or is it for shoving Cristiano Ronaldo? Am quite baffled actually.
So with that, I kinda have this 50-50 thing going on. I kinda want France to win the semi's just to trash Portugal but I also want Portugal to win so that they will fall flat in front of the Germans...that too if Germany wins the semi.
This is open to debates and discussion and I welcome them. Pls do comment.
