Shah Rukh watched ?Krrish?!

Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan watched 'Krrish'. 'Krrish' hasn't released in theatres yet.
Recently Hrithik Roshan had arranged a special screening of the film for Shah Rukh. Besides Shah Rukh, filmmaker Karan Johar and few other close friends were present at the screening.
Hrithik plays the title role in the 'Krrish'.
An opinion from one of the finest actor-director team will surely go a long way for Hrithik, reasons industry grapevine why Hrithik had a special show of the film for Shah Rukh and Karan.
'Krrish' is scheduled to rock theatres on 23rd June.

Shahrukh or Abhishek?

IndiaGlitz reported yesterday about Yash Chopra’s ‘Dhoom 2’ set to upstage Shahrukh’s ‘Don’ because of the ‘differences’ between the two Bollyood bigwigs. Continuing in the same vein, is another Breaking News: Aditya Chopra, the man with the midas touch who has given two of the biggest hits ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and ‘Mohabbatein’ (Both starring SRK) has decided to cast Abhishek Bachchan in his next directorial venture. Rani Mukherjee, in all probability will be the female lead.
It is very clear that Yash Chopra camp wish to give a very clear message to Shahrukh Khan that nobody is indispensable. It is being said that Yash Chopra is incensed with SRK for his ‘silent’ opposition of Amitabh Bachchan and that’s why son Abhishek is being cast in Adi’s film. Chopra Senior had strongly defended Shahrukh when Sunny Deol was angry about being shortchanged in ‘Darr’. And since that Hit, SRK has featured in all their films, be it ‘DDLJ’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, ‘Mohabbatein’ and ‘Veer Zaara’. With the ten year bond coming apart, Chopras are bonding with Deols once again by signing Bobby Deol for Shaad Ali’s ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’. Maybe it’s their way of burying the hatchet.
With Bollywood riding on the recent successes, it’s also time for some big-time-animosities. And inflated balloons of ego being burst by ‘mutual compromise’. The next move will be from the depleted SRK camp. IndiaGlitz will be the first to report it to all our loyal patrons the world over.

Dhoom 2 upstages Don

Showbiz is like Politics. No permanent friends or enemies. Shahrukh Khan is realizing exactly the same at this very moment. Apparently Yash Chopra and son Aditya Chopra are taking their animosity with Shah to a different level. Two of the biggest Diwali releases this year will be Yash Raj’s ‘Dhoom 2’ and Shahrukh’s ‘Don’. All the exhibitors of ‘Krrish’ (Yash Raj Films is distributing Hrithik’s super duper saga) have been verbally booked for ‘Dhoom 2’ and this leaves very few exhibitors for ‘Don’. And in the bargain, the fate of King Khan’s big ticket will be affected badly.
The feud between the two parties started when Shahrukh asked for his market price from Yash Raj Films. The ten year association started turning sour as Aditya Chopra had learned by now that he could make successful films even without Shahrukh. Aamir Khan was signed at his market price for ‘Fanaa’ which incensed Shahrukh. His favorite leading lady Kajol was signed opposite Aamir, upsetting King Khan even further. After being chucked out from Shimit Amin’s film produced by Yash Raj Films in favor of Salman Khan, Shahrukh was at a loss of words. The schemer that he is, he just wormed his way back by easing out Salman from Shimit’s film. No wonder Salman is upset with him.
It seems Yash and Aditya Chopra are in a mood to teach a lesson to all the big and small stars of Bollywood. That if they can do it to the biggest of them all, then they can do it with anyone. So beware! IndiaGlitz will keep a close watch on the Diwali fireworks and keep you updated about the same.

Shah Rukh making enemies!
"I am the King Khan," we heard SRK proclaiming so in a leading dail just a few days back. But ironically the people who made him scale new heights are now seems to be pulling out.
Owing to Shah Rukh's alienation from the Bachchans, the Chopras have decided to keep him out of their camp. And replacing him will be none other than Abhishek Bachchan!
In a bid to make truce with everyone, the Chopras have even signed Bobby Deol for Shaad Ali's Jhoom Bara Bar Jhoom.
They have also announced that YRF's Dhoom 2 would fight hand in hand at the Box Office against Shah Rukh’s Don.
Earlier Ram Gopal Verma has also shelved his film with SRK in favour of Nishabd with Amitabh.
But Shah Rukh denies all the stories and says, "I don't believe in all these rumours. Amitji is above all this. Abhishek is like my younger brother and my kids are fond of him."

Apex court relief for SRK project
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan today got major relief as the Supreme Court dismissed a public interest litigation (PIL) challenging the Maharashtra government’s decision to permit construction of a multi-storey housing complex near a heritage building in the Mumbai suburb of Bandra where the actor lives.
The apex bench of Chief Justice of India Y K Sabharwal and Justice C K Thakker observed there was nothing wrong established to prove that the Maharashtra government violated any law and that the actor influenced the administration.
Bombay High Court had earlier dismissed the petition filed by one Cyril Thomas Mecwan, who said Khan had influenced the state government into taking the decision.
The heritage building was called Villa Vienna, but the actor renamed it Mannat. He is constructing a housing complex there.
The high court had stated that all necessary approvals were obtained by Khan and that there was nothing violative of law. The Supreme Court confirmed that order while dismissing the PIL.
Khan had earlier filed a caveat in the Supreme Court, anticipating that the PIL would reach the apex court of the country. Filing a caveat means telling the court not to decide without hearing the party filing it. It is often filed by those anticipating a case against him.
Mecwan said he was a “social worker” and president of the Bharatiya Pheriwala Ekta Sangh and contended in his petition that the actor’s proposed multi-storey housing complex would devastate the heritage complex “Mannat”.

Shah Rukh, Aamir, Salman in abuse flick?
[Unconfirmed news item]
For many years Bollywood enthusiasts have longed to see the top three Khans together on the big screen, and this dream cast may well come true, if rumours are to be believed.
According to ‘a Bollywood trade analayst’, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are being ‘cornered’ into starring in a film on the sensitive subject of child abuse.
All three actors are to be given pivotal and substantial roles in the production, with Aamir Khan’s character at the centre of the abuse storyline.
All three actors will play roles of their age, and not college going youths. Shah Rukh Khan will play the father of two teenage girls, one of which gets murdered, laying the blame on Aamir Khan’s character. Aamir himself will also play a married man with a young child. Salman Khan’s role in the film is of the police officer investigating the death of Shah Rukh Khan’s teenage daughter.
Where does the child abuse angle come in, I hear you ask. Well the story begins when the three are teenagers themselves. The young Shah Rukh, Aamir , and Salman are close friends. One day, while playing outside, they are befriended by a ‘police officer’. The young Aamir is made to get in the car but never returns. A search is called and he is later found in the basement of some derelict house. He has been abused by the so called ‘police officer’. The lives of all three friends are shattered, and they start to drift apart.
Years later, all three are grown up. Shah Rukh’s character on the outside is a family man with a small business, but in fact he is a well-renowned gangster. Aamir’s character, after going through what he did when he was a child, is a loner who works as a labourer. His marriage is on the rocks and he is being alienated from his only child. Salman Khan has become a successful police officer, but his marriage is in tatters, as his wife has left him and wants a divorce. After the police fail to find the murderer, Shah Rukh Khan, with the help of his gangster associates, kidnaps Aamir Khan. He believes that Aamir killed his daughter. The ending of the film sees Shah Rukh Khan kill Aamir for revenge, later finding out that he was not the murderer.
All three actors are happy to work together on this project, but want the story changed, as it is too much similar to the Hollywood smash hit Mystic River. That film starred Sean Penn (Shah Rukh Khan), Tim Robbins (Aamir Khan), and Kevin Bacon (Salman Khan).
If the actors sign up then three leading ladies will also be cast, to play opposite them. Kajol opposite Shah Rukh, Karisma opposite Aamir, and Aishwarya in a guest appearance, opposite Salman Khan. Those are the three being touted.
This insider has not disclosed the name of the director who is planning this ambitious project, but one can only think one specific director, when it comes to sensitive and out of the ordinary films.
Let’s hope that this project does lift off, and we finally get to see the Khan magic times three.

Vidya Balan dreams of Shah Rukh!
In this industry, where every newcomers dream to work with Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan, 'Parineeta' gal Vidya Balan however is no exception. But only difference between Vidya and other starlets is Vidya doesn't want to wait for that.
An ardent fan of Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya Balan is ready to do every thing to play opposite SRK. In a recent interview, Vidya assured that she would soon be seen opposite King Khan.
"I will look best with Shah Rukh Khan on screen," also she claimed.
Vidya said she has seen Shah Rukh's 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' almost six times in the theatres. And she claimed she knows the dialogues of the film by heart.

Baby Bachchan bowled over by King Khan's charm
Shah Rukh Khan ’s overt statements proclaiming himself as the ‘superstar’ of Bollywood may lead many to believe that he is an arrogant man. But Abhishek Bachchan thinks otherwise.
According to Abhishek, SRK is a “humble and unassuming person”. In Abhishek’s opinion, one needs to spend some time with SRK in order to know the man and the superstar.
During the making of Karan Johar’s film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna , Abhishek not only got a chance to work with SRK but also got to know the man behind the superstar.
“I was bowled over by him as an actor and a human being…Only after you work with Shah Rukh do you truly understand why he enjoys the position he does. He's a humble and unassuming person,” an IANS report quotes Abhishek as saying.
Another quality Abhishek marvels in the king Khan is how, during shooting, SRK not only concentrates on his own performance but also makes sure that other actors also end up giving their best.
Abhishek recalls one scene in which he was stuck and how SRK came to his rescue and gave an advice as to how to perform.
“The amount I've learnt from him about conducting oneself as a person and as an actor, is insurmountable,” Abhishek is quoted.
Abhishek also adds that the rumours of rift between SRK and the Bachchans have not affected their relationship.
‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ has Abhishek playing husband to Rani Mukherjee , and SRK playing Preity Zinta ’s husband. The film is about troubled marriages.
