srk was a decent actor earlier
but know he is become a mere waste.
he only works with karan johar yash raj
or farah.his last film paheli was a disaster.
swades had a good story but srk did not suit the character.
veer zaara was a mere waste it had become a hit movie coz of the yash raj banner.
main hoon naa was a silly movie.
srk has lot to prove as an actor
kank is again a karan johar film which has AB AND JR.AB
HE WILL NOT BE NOTICED MUCH.THE CHARACTER OF DON CAN BE DONE BY ONLY BACHAN.
SO SRK SHOULD QUIT ACTING I FEEL.

This is what I feel SRK has accomplished alot as an actor. He fitted Swades as tho the film was tailor made for him. He did movies with different banners and that shows his versatality. Even if he does films with big banners that just proves the talent in him and how bankable he is. Thats what directors look for. Not all actors have decent movies. Look ak Salman. His movies are all CIRCUS. Whats left for SRK to be noticed??? He's noticed already. What more need.
If SRK quits acting than not-so-decent actors such as Salman should have retired long long time ago.

Bharath with all due respect. I know this is ur opinion and yes ur entitled to say whatever u wanna say and I believe I have the same profound right to do so.
The reason he works mostly with banners such as Yashraj and with directors such as Yash Chopra and Karan Johar is simply cuz THEY want him in their films. You have to admit that Sharukh has the talent and what it takes to make movie goers get their tickest worth. The very fact that he works with these big names prove how bankable he can actually be.
Paheli was not an entire catastrophe, it just was not up to the expected degree where regular movie goers will digest. I hated Paheli and till know I feel that that movie should not even be mentioned at the preliminary Oscar entry in India.
The sotry of Swades is not at all good. Its superb and I loved it even more compared to Veer Zaara and Sharukh was perfect for Swades. You're just one of the million ppl who think otherwise and it's fine by me but the as far as the majority goes, HE ROCKED IN SWADES. And honestly that matters.
I don't know how you can classify Veer Zaara as a mere waste film when you're all talks on films such as Maine Pyar Kyu Kia?? A movie does not hit big just cuz its associated with a big banner. Look what happened to Neil 'N' Nikki? Its a Yashraj film as well and it bombed at the box-office. The reason why Veer-Zaara dii so well is all due to the story, direction and performance by Sharukh, Preity and Rani.
Main Hoo Na is not exactly my cup of Earl Grey but not to the extent to call it silly. Tho the movie my be silly to ur standards, it did win accolades. There's no point of even talking about Kabhi Alveeda Na Kehana cuz its not even out and even so I think it does not matter if he shares the screen with both the Bachan hunks. It went pretty fine in Mohabbatain and Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham and Sharukh once again performed on par with Mr. Bachan.
I think its rather unfair of you to talk about Don when the movie is yet to reach the post-production stage. How can you even blatantly compare Mr.Bachan and Sharukh for the role in Don when ur yet to watch it?
And ur take that he will not be noticed much, well I dunno howz it in ur country but in my country as well as many others, he is very much noticed. He's noticed for his boy-ish good-looks, charming smile, the actor in him and the talent which reads him.
Of course you can feel as much as you want but he'll not quit acting. If he does, then it will be a loss deeply felt.

bharath is wrong when he says that srk won be noticed.
he is already being noticed
talking about inimahs
truly speaking srk cannot recreate the magic of mr.bachan in don he may try it for more than hundred times he will not succeed.
neal n nikki was the worst film ever made
but still collected 16 crores all over the world coz of the yash raj banner.
srk and salman are both great in their own ways

Thats remakes for you. People will constantly measure you to the original but let the movie come out first. Of course it will be the original and I'm sure SRK cant get the x factor like how Bachan did but I cant even tell yet cuz I've no watched the 2nd Don. So its of no point to say so.
