Without the main players from the squad that failed miserably in Germany during the World Cup, the Brazilian Federation hopes this can mean a strong start to the rebuilding of the team for the 2010 World Cup. Dunga will not only have to overcome the difficult task of coaching his first game ever at the National level, but also must do so against a team Brazil has never been able to beat. More than a change in tactics, for now the coach only promises a change in attitude, demanding more of an effort from his players than what the team showed during the World Cup. I'm not sure Brazil will be able to click yet, but players willing to make a run for the team may feel encouraged to show their best football.
Judging from yesterdays match they did fairly allright.

All in all it was a satisfying, promising effort especially when considering we were missing huge part of our main players. We could have easily scored 3 hadn't it been for the excellent performance of the norwegian goalkeeper. Looking forward to the friendly against Argentina now.

The captain was Lucio, who played quite well, in my opinion.

The match was ok. Norway were stronger than Brazil. Not to keen on the goalkeeper. Defence was kind good thanx to Juan.

Considering the fact that it didn boast much of the big names, I thought it was good. Lucio and Juan were ur WC regulars while you have Fred, Cicinho, Gilberto Silva and Robinho who were ur not so regulars.

Despite a nervous first half, the second half showed more promise, and Brazil could have easily escaped with a win if not for the Norwegian goalkeeper.
I must confess the second half may have given me reason to be optimistic about Dunga's future ahead of the team.
