Reliablecom or Reliablecom.com calling card review
I am an international student and I am trying to find the best way for calling my family in India. I heard Reliablecom and wondered how it is.
When I check its website, its rates seem cheaper than good companies. But the most important question is that these rates are clear rates and makes Reliablecom.com the best for using. The other important question is how they can provide these low rates.
I made some Internet research and found some answers for these questions. Firstly, I entered their website and search their rates. Like many other companies, they do not have connection fee, maintenance fee and Service Fee. But I could not find any information about Disconnection Fees which works pretty much the same way as connection fees but are charged when you hang up. In fact, may be they do not have disconnection fee but generally, good companies like Pingo and Reliance India Call which do not have disconnection fee, give attention to mention about that at their website and make clear their rates for their users.
At the same time, I noticed that their rounding time is 1 minute. Let’s say you call and talk only few seconds, it does not matter you have to pay 1 minute’s rate, or you talk 2 minutes and 1 second, you have to pay 3 minute’s rate.
The other thing which bothers me about rates and fee is the sentence at the (http://www.reliablecom.com/productdetail.asp?mscssid=910BBEA8A9BD4120BF9773D57D2C12E2&epartner_id=0&sku=9075&showtype=gi&fcountry=USA-): “Rates, fees & expiration dates are subject to change without notice, except where prohibited by law.”
After checking their website, I searched for finding comments abut this card. I found some positive comments but also, I found negative comments meaning to me more than nonspecific good comments.
For example, I learned that some people can connected after long trying and the call went through after few seconds but they are charged for these seconds -in fact, because of Reliablecom.com’s rounding minute policy, they are charged for a minute. Also, I read many negative comments about their customer services and about costs of calling their customers services which do not have free-toll number in some countries.
As a result, I can say that I definitely use Pingo or Reliance India Call even they are little bit more expensive. Because at least, I know that their rates are explained and when you make an online research, there is not any negative comment which is serious as comments I mentioned above.
