Raza review : Raza.com just another calling card for India
While the international phone card industry is starting to explode and many companies are marketing their own card, it is very hard to a card to separate itself from the others. With so many generic phone cards, it is hard to find the right card. The most successful phone cards are the phone cards that offer the most at the lowest price.
With companies like Reliance India Call, Airtel Call Home and Pingo taking phone cards in a new direction, generic phone cards like Raza are left behind. Razacom (Raza.com) started marketing prepaid phone cards in the late 90's and early 2000, and had success in the US phone card section with their "Megastar" phone card. Known for the telecommunications service, Raza has decided to push its way in the international phone card business. While Raza seems to have a successful past, people are still skeptical about using their international phone card service.
Even though, Raza is offering a price of 6.9 cents per minute to call India. Although other companies like Pingo and RelianceIndiaCall may slightly high prices than Raza, they will actually give you more minutes of talk time. Which leads customers to believe there are other hidden charges that will deduct from users actual call time. Another thing that hurts Raza is their customer service can only be reached by email and online comments, and much like Airtel Caling Card, many customers believe they will have a hard time reaching Raza's customer service.
What is most disturbing about Raza can be found in their terms and conditions. In this section of their website, Raaza says they do not take responsibility for any dropped calls or low quality calls. Which would lead to one to believe that Razaa must not have reliable network service and could have systems overload and possibly have their entire network shut down and laving their customers unable to make the calls they want to. A company that does not have confidence in their network is not a company a phone card user would want to use.
