Amitabh Bachchan is Celebrity Model of the Year

Amitabh Bachchan, Shahenshah of Bollywood, won the award for the Celebrity Model of the Year - Male, at the Idea Zee F Awards in Mumbai on Saturday night. The Celebrity Model of the Year - Female, was given to Rani Mukherjee. The Idea Zee F Awards is an effort to honour the people behind the Indian fashion statement, the fashion gurus and the most fashionable men and women in the country.

In a glittering and dazzling show hosted by Dia Mirza, 33 awards across 3 categories – Industry Awards, Idea People’s Choice Awards and the Hall of Fame Awards were given away.

Rekha, the evergreen heroine, won the award for the Fashionable Film star - Female, and Shabana Azmi for the Most Fashionable Politician - Female.

Outstanding Contribution to Fashion - Couture King, went to Tarun Tahiliani.

Rohit Bal won the Men’s Designer Wear of the Year - Couture, while Tarun Tahiliani won the Women’s Wear Designer of the Year - Couture.

Rahul Khanna walked away with Men’s Wear Designer of the Year award. Women’s Wear designer of the Year went to Manish Arora.

Youth Style Icon in Films was Hrithik Roshan while Fashion Diva of the Year , Katrina Kaif. John Abraham was the Fashionable Film star - Male.

Upen Patel and Deepika Padukone won the awards for theModel of the Year - Commercial Assignment, in their respective categories.

Only awards were not presented all throughout the evening. There were also spectacular performances by Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Onjolee Nair, Udita Goswami, Koena Mitra and Ganesh Hegde. The Idea Zee F Awards was a busy night of haute couture, razzle dazzle action and star-studded performances!!
