Congratulations DEBOJIT winner of MUSICELECTION INDIA’05.
Young man, you are great, you have improved your singing from mediocrity to a much better level whatever be the way. But the SAREGAMA PLATFORM is becoming SUICIDAL for Indian Music.
QUANTITY not QUALITY that matters.
What sold well in SAREGAMAPA 2005-
1) Nonmusical PERSONAL STORIES and well rehearsed and cleverly orchestrated NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS.
2) STATE, FAMILY DISTRESS, LANGUAGE, REGIONAL QUOTA
3) Election style speeches and promises
What was defeated -
1) The dignity of Indian Music.
2) The REAL Musical talents like one with as simple mindset who promises NO NAIl BITING in 2006.
Long live Nihira Joshi, the Melody Princess of India, you will remain in Indian heart for long time.
Do we care for personal stories or regioanl background or care for Musical Talents ?? India please decide.

Debojit, you don’t know how much we love your voice and your humble personality…we are from Calgary Canada… But born in Bangladesh… Your love for your singing, and your devotion towards your hard working wife is truly amaging.. My daughter is 22 months old and she loves your songs and can call your name”DEBO” when ever she sees you on ZEE TV.. My mother prayed for you, we all did.. Now you have to keep up your good work and show the worl that you are the true winner of the show.. we love you and God bless you..
