Sourav Ganguly dropped, Pakistan bat in second Test
Faisalabad, Jan 21 : Sourav Ganguly has been dropped as India plays Pakistan in the second test. Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq won the toss and opted to bat as India and Pakistan made two changes each in the XI for the second Test at Iqbal Stadium here Saturday.
India replaced Sourav Ganguly and pacer Ajit Agarkar with pacers Zaheer Khan and Rudra Pratap Singh, who is making his debut here. This is the first time Ganguly has been dropped from the XI in a long time.
Pakistan also made two changes in the XI that drew the first Test in Lahore.
Pacers Abdul Razzaq and Mohammad Asif replaced Mohammed Sami and Naved-ul-Hasan Rana.
