Aishwarya Rai beats Sania Mirza, Shahrukh Khan Wins !
Aishwarya Rai defeated Sania Mirza in the very closely fought womens final and the Badshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan knocked out Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar to win the mens final of the of the desifans STaRsWaRs Most Popular Desi Celeb contest.
The new sensation of India, Sania Mirza and the Queen of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai were locked at exactly the same number of votes after the end of the contest period and the finals had to be extended to break the deadlock between the popular stars. Shahrukh Khan had a comparatively easier but yet close fight with Sachin Tendulkar. Possible that the recent lack of form of the Little Master of Indian cricket played a part here.
Aishwarya won 51.2% and Sania Mirza 48.8% of the popular votes. Aishwarya has beaten Sushmita Sen in the quarter final and Priyanka Kapoor in the semi final to reach the finals. Shahrukh Khan proved that he is still very popular winning 53.3% of the total votes against Sachin Tendulkar.

how can anyone pick srk over sachin…
sachin is best at what he does while srk is not even as good as amir khan. seriously
