Shahrukh Khan, Big B, Tendulkar move to Semis, Dravid thrash Ganguly !

Bollywood heavyweights Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan moved on to the semi finals of the desifans Star Wars, Clash of desi stars contest. Rahul Dravid thrashed Saurav Ganguly while Sachin Tendular edged out Hrithik Roshan. Shahrukh beat Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan knocked out Salman Khan.

In the Star Wars, the desifans.com clash of the desi stars contest, desi celebrities contested against each other head to head in the quarters finals. In the Mens quarter finals, Shahrukh Khan won his match against Abhishek Bachchan winning 58% of the votes. Pitted against the huge star, Abhishek Bachchan has proved to be a rising star among desifans. But Dad, Amitabh Bachchan proved that he is evergreen, knocking out hot Salman Khan by a bigger margin !! Sallu could get only 35% of the votes.

The world of cricket and Bollywood clashed when Sachin Tendulkar met Hrithik Roshan and Sachin edged out Hrithik 56:42. But the most significant Star War match was between the present Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid and former captain Saurav Ganguly. Rahul Dravid had the most convincing victory in the mens category winning 70% of the popular votes !! The Bangalore cricketer seems to be the darling of all desifans and especially the favorite when he is pitted against Saurav Dada.

The womens category saw beauty queens Aishwarya Rai knock out Sushmita Sen, Sania Mirza thrash the sizzling Mallika Sherawat and Kareena Kapoor lose to the Priyanka Chopra.
