Its interesting to read what Maria Sharapova says about India’s ace player, Sania Mirza, “It’s gonna be another tough one. I haven’t really seen much of how she plays. I heard she’s got a big and powerful game. It’s hard to predict things, but I’m sure it’s going to be a good match.” Yes, sure, it is hard to predict things , who could predict Sania will be in the pre quarterfinal in the US OPEN, when no Indian women ever crossed the 1st round ?

Sharapova and Mirza will meet first time ever, and the fans are ready to do anything to see this match-up between these two teens who are widely considered two of the most popular players on the planet ! hearts do rule minds sometimes. im rooting for sania to win, and will be there at arthur ashe, screaming in support. however all of us sania-maniacs do know the end result of this match. i mean, maria hasn’t reached the top just to give away her 11.2 million dollars to a fellow-teenager, immensely less experienced and with an extremely high unforced error index. for sania, this will be a ‘here-goes-nothing’ match, coz she has nothing to lose, and the prayers of a billion poeple to gain! i sincerely wish her the best, and hope she makes maria run for her money!
